Isabel is wearing a short sleeve Ranunculus knit with two laceweights held double (La Bien Aimee Helix and Knitting for Olive Soft Silk Mohair). Our mannequin has a long sleeved version made of Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino (worsted weight) and KFO Soft Silk Mohair. Jamie is wearing a cropped version with two laceweights held double.

Want to know more about the Ranunculus Sweater by Midori Hirose? Click here to see the Ravelry page. It has a wide range of sizes and is totally customizable- check out the project page on Ravelry! Jamie is leading the knit along and will be in the shop every Wednesday in April. We’re gathering from 11 AM- 12:30PM.

Yarn weight: You can use lace, light fingering to worsted weight yarn. The degree of transparency depends on the weight of yarn. Knitting with thin yarn on big needle gives light, transparent and airy texture to this pullover. Using thicker yarn or holding two yarns together adds more weight, and more structured look. For a summer weight try DanDoh Silk+ or Linen. Quince & Co Kestrel or Sparrow. Any laceweights held double like La Bien Aimee Helix would be gorgeous, or you could take advantage of the rainbow of colors on our fingering weight wall for your perfect shade.

Needles:
6 mm US 10 circular needle as main needle. 5 mm US 8 needle for hem ribbing and finishing sleeve. Adjust needle size if necessary to get gauge.
