Beginning Cable Knitting
Learn to knit cables! This technique of working stitches out of order creates beautiful twisted patterns. In this single session class, you will learn basic techniques for left- and right-twisted cables as well as how these stitches can be combined to form more intricate textures of crossing layers. We will discuss pattern reading in both words and charts. A sample cowl pattern will be introduced as a possible first cable project.

Instructions provided
~100 yards of DK/worsted yarn (a lighter, solid color in a flexible wool is preferred)
Appropriate needles for yarn (US size 5-8)
Cable needle/hook
